DataQuest reports that Indian IT Industry grew over 30% third time in a row and revenues crossed US $ 50 billion.
The largest chunk of revenue comes from Software & Services Exports which has grown to account for 50% of the revenue in 2006-07 to US $25.3 bn. It was US $ 13.2 bn in 04-05. Interestingly packaged software sales went a few percentage points down -- accounting for about 16% of revenue this year while it was 18% in 04-05.
