Yahoo! Mail Announces Unlimited Storage
Yahoo! Mail just upped the ante on the Web Mail market. Starting in May 2007, all users of Yahoo! Mail will get Unlimited Storage space. This gift to users is part of the 10th Anniversary of Yahoo! Mail.
In 1997 Yahoo! had acquired RocketMail and relaunched it. I am a loyal and satisfied user of Yahoo! Mail, although I prefer (and continue to use) the older UI to the newer desktop app like UI.
Yahoo! Mail is thus leapfrogging GMails 2 GB plus storage offering. In mid February, GMail opened up its account signup service for all. From a webmail market share perspective, last September Yahoo Mail had 50% of the 500 million online web mail market.
I also have Hotmail and Gmail accounts that I use for subscribing to web newsletters and lists. Yahoo! Mail totally rocks for me.

Hey the article u have written is cool but i feel Yahoo is announcing that all Yahoo Mail users will have free unlimited email . The current storage limit is 1 GB per account (2 GB for $20/year premium users). With this change, Yahoo leapfrogs Gmail (2.8 GB and growing) and Live.com Mail (2GB). Though Rediff.com (Rediffmail), primarily an Indian mail service went the unlimited way earlier this month. Yahoo mail currently has 250 million global users, more than any other online service (Live.com has 228 million and Gmail has 51 million users).Yahoo would be looking at maintaining its lead over Gmail and I’m sure we’ll see some more additional features soon..I got the info. from http://www.watblog.com…check this link out :http://www.watblog.com/?content=detail&id=614
