Yahoo Widgets 4 launches
The new Yahoo! Widgets 4.0 has launched for Mac OS X, Windows Vista, XP and 2000. If you are a Flickr fan — with Y! Widgets 4.0 you can use the Y! Flickr widget to upload, tag and view Flickr photos.

Google's Gadgets are tied to Google Desktop.
