Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) plans to release Vista in 8 flavors:
- Starter: For new PCs in emerging markets. Runs on 32-bit machines.
- Home Basic: Compares with Win XP Home
- Home Premium: Has Media Center
- Business: Compares with Win XP Professional. Has tools for small businesses
- Enterprise: Available only in Volume Licences.
- Ultima: has the best of Home Premium and Enterprise.
7 and 8) There will be 2 special "N" versions of "Home Basic" and "Business" for Europe without Windows Media Player
