The Blog Herald has published my blogging tips. So, go ahead and read some of the simple things I do when I write my blog posts and let me know if you find something useful. There are no magic words or stunning revelations, just plain things that help me write better and record any useful passing ideas more effectively.
The whole experience of blogging for me is to refine my own understanding of the Tech World and share those random thoughts with others -- adding incrementally to the body of information available in the Blogosphere that is influencing our thinking on a daily basis.
If you are reading TheBizofCoding regularly, you would have noticed that I tend to have a counter point. A certain critical view on several actions of big Tech Players. For example when Google Finance launched, I called it a me-too. The product did not take off, quite as I had expected.
This counter point is not because I think big players are *always* wrong. It is because through the collective thinking of us bloggers, I hope we sometimes influence decision makers or at the minimum we act as sounding boards.
To give a counter point is to stand up and be ready to look foolish because big Tech Brands have their own magnetic pulls for success. Yet it is a chance to make the good even better. For all my counter point thinking, the world would be poorer without the competitive moves taken by Google (GOOG), Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO), Microsoft (MSFT), Oracle (ORCL), SUN (SUNW) and others -- giving us a reason to blabber and have fun!
Enjoy!
Btw if you are interested to know how blog rankings work, I wrote a post Listed! How Blogebrity Blog Ranking works.
