Economic Times, one of Indias leading Financial Newspapers has published results of a survey done by AC Neilsen on Engineering and Technology graduates in India.
Microsoft Corp (MSFT), Google (GOOG), Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO), IBM (IBM), and Oracle Corp, (ORCL) were listed as the Top 5 preferred companies to work with by the students in class of 07.
Three Indian MNCs featured in the Top -10 preferred employers: Infosys (INFY), WIPRO (NYSE:WIT), and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
Infosys recently announced plans to hire 300 fresh grads in the US and UK and its InStep International internship program draws students from top universities world-wide.
TCS plans to be amongst the world's Top - 10 IT Services Players by 2010. WIPRO along with Infosys and TCS is amongst the Top 3 Indian IT players.The list of Top-10 preferred employers for Indian Techies was rounded off by McKinsey and Adobe Systems (ADBE).
