Software Product Management
How can I become a software Product Manager? I hear this question several times from people interested in pursuing a career path in Product Management.
To understand the full scope of the role of a Product Manager I recommend a review of the brilliant framework developed by Pragmatic Marketing and reading some excellent articles on Product Management on their web site.
People from diverse backgrounds — Developers, Program Managers , Project Managers, Quality Engineers, User Experience Designers, Marketing Interns, Technical Writers, Architects, Marketers and even Sales Professionals have asked me how they can get into Product Management.
I will continue to post on this subject in the future. Stay Tuned!
